Advent Study Coming to CrossRoads!
Advent, that special time of preparation for the birth of Christ, begins this year on Sunday, November 29th. At CrossRoads, the children, the youth and the adult Sunday school classes will all begin a study called “Under Wraps—the Gift We Never Expected”. Anyone who isn’t able to join a Sunday morning class is invited to join a group meeting in Room 105 at 7:00 PM on Mondays starting 11/30.
Angel Tree Ministry
There are still tags for you to pick off the Angel Tree. All gifts must be back at church under the Angel Tree by Thursday, Dec. 10th, so they can be grouped into families and delivered on Sunday, Dec. 13th.
Thank you CrossRoads!
Thank you all for the wonderful way you responded to our request for Thanksgiving Dinner items. Every line on the sign-up sheet was filled last Sunday morning. We delivered the food bags to eight families in Belton who are enjoying a nicer Thanksgiving because of you!
Thanks for everyone who brought a box of toys for Operation Christmas Child. The boxes were delivered to be shipped out to Mexico. This could be the first present these children have ever received. Sure would be fun to see the look on their faces as they open their special box for Christmas.
