see how many of you walked and how hard some of you worked. We will have some
awards to present on Sunday.
The important thing for our health is that we have developed a healthy habit
of exercise. Don’t stop now. Nobody will be calling you for your mileage, but it
may help you to continue to wear your pedometer and keep a daily log. Maybe just
write your time or mileage in the corner of your calendar each evening. It will
be fun for you to be able to look back in a few months to see how your strength
and endurance has grown.
Hopefully the devotions that accompanied our walk have also been helpful.
Maybe we’ve also strengthened our commitment to spend time daily with the Lord.
You might want to start a journal, writing a couple lines about your day or some
thoughts you are having about your place in the world, etc. At some future time
when you look back you’ll be able to see your spiritual growth just like the
calendar record shows your physical improvement.
Although you’ll get this message on Good Friday, we know, "the rest of the
story" so I can confidently say to you all, "Happy Easter" and be sure to walk
off all those chocolate eggs and bunnies you consume!
